Our Lamb Spleen is coarse ground and packaged in a convenient to use 1 LB. deli container. These spleen are sourced from Indiana area lambs that were raised for human consumption. They were inspected, approved and processed in a local USDA facility. The vote among our furry crowd is that spleen is surprisingly tasty!
Remember, as a secreting and filtering organ, spleen are part of that elite group of organs (along with liver, kidneys and pancreas) that should make up 10% of your raw-fed pet's diet.
