This Ground Lake Trout is packaged in a convenient 2 LB. deli container. It has been wild caught and coarse ground. These are not scraps or throwaways! This lovely, meaty specimen is also known by the names mackinaw, lake char (or charr), touladi, togue and grey trout. They have the "whole package"--head, body and tail ground together. This product contains no organs. What a lovely near whole prey offering!
From northern Lake Michigan, this tasty sought after selection was caught exclusively for us by the Ojibwe people. The Ojibwe have exclusive rights to fish this species as permitted under various treaties.
