Fine Ground Whole Young Beef-1 LB.

1 LB. deli container of Ground Whole Young Beef. This product is made from the whole calf with meat, organs and bones together. Each calf is individually  selected, artisanally butchered, fine ground and fresh frozen. These Michigan cows are 1 - 7 days old, healthy males from dairy cattle stock. They have been milk-fed. Steroid-free. Hormone-free. The very young meat source makes for softer, more digestible bones. Extremely lean (about 1% fat!).
This selection has a slightly smoother texture than our Coarse Ground Whole Young Beef. Many customers prefer this grind for their cats, kittens and puppies!

The average prey animal has about 10% to 15% bone, about 10% organs and the rest muscle and fat and connective tissue. That is Mother Nature's model and therefore our model ratio for all of our Whole Ground products.
