Our mutton contains the whole animal. It is a lamb (a sheep) that is over 1 year old. It's the same wholesome, grass-raised animal as its younger relative. We use the whole animal - not throw-aways or left-overs. Schoenborn Family Farms procures fine, healthy stock, exclusively for us. The result is optimal nutrition using meat, bones, & organs. Includes the tripe! It is coarse ground and packaged in a convenient 2 LB. deli container and fresh frozen for your pets' optimal nutrition.
Mutton is naturally fatty. It's this fat that nourishes your pet's joints, skin, brain and coat.
